Organization Development Journal (ODJ)
The Organization Development Journal is a peer-reviewed social sciences journal that was first published in 1983, and has an international audience of scholars and practitioners.
During the initial years of our formation, a planning group was formed which established the regional basis, the collaborative approach and the network form of organization. Many conferences took place which were addressed by the leaders from universities and policy bodies as well as by academics and included examples of practitioner research. This practice continued and our institute grew in size and range of activities. Our partners supported the conferences and subsequently The Organization Development Institute did not only improve its professional entity but also created many associated Research initiatives, developed an R&D Toolkit and established its regional offices. The latter provided leadership and logistical support which enabled meetings and one-day conferences to take place across the globe.
The Journal publishes peer-reviewed original research reports, briefer empirical reports, and theoretical and review articles provided the latter represent a new and original contribution, rather than merely surveys of literature or summaries of previous research.
Article topics cover a range of issues in organization development, change management, organizational effectiveness, change leadership, and any other OD-related issue that provides insights to experienced professionals. We also accept submissions of high quality papers from the global community in the fields of Education, Classroom, Community, Diversity, Dynamics, Anthropology, Sociology, Cultural Studies, and other Social Sciences. The OD Journal is published four times a year.
