We anticipate that writers will keep thorough records of the supporting data required to help others comprehend, validate, and reproduce novel findings. They should also be able to share or provide access to this data upon reasonable request. In addition to including a Data Availability Statement in their article outlining where their data may be located and the options and licenses for accessing and using it, we encourage writers to deposit their data in an appropriate repository or storage facility so that others can share and utilize it further.
